Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU

Location

Seattle, WA | NICU (Level III / Level IV)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU, supporting neonates as early as 23–24 weeks gestation
• Operate and monitor advanced respiratory support equipment including CPAP/BiPAP, High Frequency Ventilators, Oscillators, and conventional Vents
• Administer blood and blood products; manage PICC/Central Lines and syringe pumps
• Attend high-risk deliveries and support neonatal surgical cases
• Perform procedures including Cardioversion/Defibrillation, Cooling/Warming Blanket therapy, and Feeding Tube management
• May be expected to float to sister/satellite campuses; if floated to Pediatrics, assignment will be limited to infant care only

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 3 years of NICU experience required
• Experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
• Must be willing to float to different campuses as needed
• Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a modified rate)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for micro-preemies and extremely premature neonates (23–24 weeks gestation)
• Familiarity with high-acuity NICU procedures including attendance at high-risk deliveries and neonatal surgeries
• Comfort working in a large, high-census NICU environment
• Flexibility with block scheduling and consecutive shift arrangements
