Kratos is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, distributed systems across cloud and on?premise environments. In this role, you will guide technical strategy, mature the project’s software architecture, and support full lifecycle development within an agile, customer?focused framework. You will work closely with engineering teams, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and high?performing solutions that meet rigorous U.S. Government requirements. This position offers the opportunity to influence system design at an enterprise level while contributing to mission?critical projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Articulate technical concepts orally and in written forms to the customer, users, and the development teamLead the development and maturity of the project’s software architectureDrive and support verification and troubleshooting of the technical solutions provided by the development staffLead and support the development and maturation of the CI/CD pipeline to align with the customer-defined methodology, environment, and Kratos processesGuide and support the agile development lifecycle from a customer perspective, including backlog refinement, system demos, retrospectives, and coordinating customer feedback during Program IncrementsDefine and drive a solution software architecture to meet the project and customer requirements, coordinating cloud design and system design with the appropriate Kratos and customer personnelLead the software solution design and the Software Engineers on the project to execute that designEffectively work with cyber security teams to architecture solutions and gather solution evidence that supports attaining the Authority to Operate (ATO) for US Gov projects.Effectively utilize Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) for data transfer across multiple environmentsTravel as necessary to support system integration, testing, and customer meetings (expected to be ~ 10% average annually)BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance CoverageLife/ADD & Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401(k) Savings PlanEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Paid Time-Off (PTO)HolidaysEducation Reimbursement
