Legal Assistant/Transactions Specialist - Real Estate Development 71908

Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary
Our client, a growing Houston area law firm seeks an experienced Legal Assistant/Legal Secretary to support their Real Estate Development & Investment Practice Group.
This role supports a dynamic commercial real estate practice in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Duties include preparing and organizing signature pages for packets, due diligence searches, create and organize a check list for closings, create and maintain closing binders for attorneys and assist with closings.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of law firm experience
- Prior transactional experience required
- Commercial real estate experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, including styles and redlining, as well as Adobe Acrobat
- Strong command of Microsoft Outlook
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple detailed tasks
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork mentality, and a high degree of professionalism and dedication
