Test Operations Strategy Manager

Test Operations Strategy Manager Owners and manages the long-term strategic sourcing of critical test capacity supply chain. This role requires an experienced strategic thinker with technical expertise in Test, who can navigate complex global test supply chain challenges, influence senior corporate leadership, and develop and drive test capacity strategies that align with NXP’s operations roadmap and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic sourcing for Wafer Test and Final Test: partner with internal stakeholders from Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Business Operations to define long-range test sourcing strategies, considering long-term demand, capability, affordability, space, and product roadmaps. Review long-term Wafer Test and Final Test strategic roadmaps to identify risks and opportunities, prioritizing resolution actions with partners to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities. Review NXP’s long-term test technical roadmaps and requirements, ensuring alignment with operations’ long-term test sourcing strategies. Summarize and ensure that all key stakeholders are aware of the impact of product design decisions on sourcing, manufacturing, and capacity availability risks. Long-Term Forecast and Supply Planning: prepare the annual NXP corporate Long Term Plan (LTP) and Strategic Plan Alignment (SPA) Wafer Test and Final Test documentation to share with NXP Corporate Management Team for alignment to a shared corporate wafer test and final test sourcing strategy. Manage and monitor execution and sourcing of products and capacity expansions to ensure alignment to the long-term plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on approved strategic projects to fulfill NXP’s long-term sourcing strategies. Identify forecast uncertainties and manage them appropriately to achieve a robust long-term plan. Key Skills Influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills to translate complex data and technical information to all levels. Strong project management skills with experience working with cross-functional teams. Good analytical skills and experience with complex data analysis to identify trends and conclusions. Strong problem solving skills and risk assessment based on uncertain data. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials), Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 6 years of experience. Master’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials), Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 5 years of experience. More than 5 years of experience with wafer test or final test semiconductor manufacturing processes. More than 3 years of experience with supply chain planning and strategies.
