Our commitment to building and innovating in the AI space provides the framework intended to drive smarter decision making and enhance how we build and operate our platforms and applications.As a member of Point72's Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one—helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity—all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.What You'll DoOptimize cloud financial operations to maximize value from cloud investments, including rapidly growing artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning workloadsProvide actionable insights on cloud spend, SaaS license optimization, and emerging AI cost drivers, including model inference and usage-based consumptionImplement tooling, tagging standards, and processes that improve cost visibility and optimization across cloud, SaaS, and AI workloadsMonitor large language model API consumption and GPU-intensive infrastructure to identify cost trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunitiesBuild financial models to forecast cloud, SaaS, and AI expenditures for budgeting cycles, commitment decisions, and vendor negotiationsDesign cost allocation, tagging, showback, and chargeback models that attribute spend to the teams, applications, and use cases driving itEducate engineering and business owners on cloud financial management practices that build cost-conscious habits around resource and license consumptionPartner across the firm's technology, finance, and procurement teams to align cloud and technology cost strategies with business objectives and firmwide planningWhat's Required7+ years of relevant experience in financial management, cloud operations, or technology cost management, including at least three years of hands-on FinOps experienceBachelor's degree in finance, computer science, information technology, or a related fieldStrong understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, and their cost structuresFamiliarity with cost structures for artificial intelligence and machine learning services, including GPU instances, managed AI platforms, and large language model API usageProficiency in financial analysis and modeling for forecasting, budgeting, commitment decisions, and vendor negotiationsStrong data analysis skills, including querying and manipulating large datasets and building clear visualizations for stakeholder decision-makingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying cost drivers, trends, and optimization opportunitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCommitment to the highest ethical standardsWe Take Care of Our PeopleWe invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
