Salary: $104,000 - 114,400 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking a Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience in business analysis within complex IT or technology environments.
• We need strong skills in requirements elicitation, interviewing, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• We require advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and related collaboration tools.
• We need strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process mapping, workflow documentation, and technical or business diagrams.
• We require experience working with technical subject-matter experts across infrastructure, applications, service delivery, cybersecurity, or similar IT disciplines.
• We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• We prefer experience with documentation recovery, IT operational maturity, knowledge management, or process standardization initiatives.
• We prefer experience documenting cybersecurity, infrastructure, disaster recovery, business continuity, or IT service management processes.
• We prefer experience with SharePoint-based documentation repositories and governance.
• We prefer familiarity with ITIL, NIST, CIS, or other recognized IT and security frameworks.
• We prefer government or other highly regulated environment experience.
• We prefer CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMP, ITIL Foundation, or comparable professional certification.

• We will have the Business Analyst lead discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops with IT teams and County stakeholders.
• We will have the Business Analyst inventory existing technical, operational, security, system, application, infrastructure, and recovery documentation.
• We will have the Business Analyst analyze and document current-state business and IT processes, workflows, roles, dependencies, handoffs, and pain points.
• We will have the Business Analyst create process maps, workflow diagrams, data and process flows, inventories, matrices, and other analysis artifacts using Microsoft Visio and Microsoft 365.
• We will have the Business Analyst identify documentation gaps, single points of knowledge, process risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for standardization.
• We will have the Business Analyst gather, organize, validate, and prioritize requirements for SOPs, runbooks, knowledge articles, system documentation, and recovery documentation.
• We will have the Business Analyst translate SME knowledge into clear, structured source material and work closely with the Technical Writer.
• We will have the Business Analyst facilitate review and validation sessions to ensure documented processes accurately reflect County operations.
• We will have the Business Analyst maintain the documentation backlog, status tracking, priorities, ownership, and dependencies.
• We will have the Business Analyst support development of documentation standards, templates, governance, ownership, review cycles, and repository organization.

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience for a full-time, in-person engagement in Spartanburg, SC. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with IT leaders and subject-matter experts to establish durable standards and documentation practices that improve operational resilience and support employees and citizens. The work focuses on documentation recovery, cybersecurity, operational continuity, knowledge transfer, disaster recovery, and long-term documentation governance. We offer an hourly rate of $50.00 to $55.00, with expected hours of 40 per week.
