We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Crate Builder to join our team. This role involves constructing wooden crates and supporting production operations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow blueprints to assemble wooden crates and boxes
- Use templates to accurately position boards
- Operate power drills to drill holes and fasten pre-cut wood
- Use nail guns and a variety of hand tools safely and effectively
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure
- Assist saw operators as needed
- Maintain adequate supplies and keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measuring tape
- Experience using power tools, nail guns, and hand tools preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist regularly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently
