Summary:

The Cancer Registrar role is responsible for the identification, collection, and management of health, medical, and outcome information on all oncology patients by abstracting and coding specific patient, cancer, and treatment information from numerous sources and maintaining and updating existing patient records annually.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Associate’s Degree in Biomedical, Medical Technician or Medical Records or equivalent work experience in medical coding or cancer registry required.
2. License/Certifications: Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) Certification required.
3. Experience: Relevant healthcare experience preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $27.27 to $36.88 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
