Dishwasher – Motto Nashville

Compensation: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Location: Nashville, TN Position: Dishwasher (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Position Overview

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly. You'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting kitchen staff, and helping ensure service runs efficiently. This is a great entry-level position for someone interested in the restaurant industry and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans.
• Keep dishwashing area organized, clean, and safe at all times.
• Take out trash and recycling; maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors and surfaces.
• Assist with basic kitchen prep or cleaning tasks as needed.
• Properly store clean dishes and communicate with chefs/line cooks during service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper chemical use and sanitation standards.

Requirements (Must Meet All to Be Considered)

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-player mentality.

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial dishwasher role.
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashers and kitchen cleaning procedures.
• Interest in learning more about kitchen operations or growing into prep/line cook roles.
