Role Description As an Artificial Intelligence Intern at DartIQ.ai, you will support the design, development, and evaluation of AI models and data-driven solutions. Day-to-day tasks may include collecting and preprocessing datasets, implementing and testing machine learning algorithms, analyzing model performance, and documenting your findings. You will collaborate with engineers and data scientists to prototype features, troubleshoot issues, and refine algorithms based on feedback and metrics. This is an internship role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in Austin, TX, where regular on-site collaboration is complemented by some work-from-home flexibility. Qualifications Foundation in Computer Science and Programming, with experience in at least one language commonly used in AI (e.g., Python, Java, or C++). Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and solve complex technical problems. Knowledge of Data Science concepts such as data cleaning, feature engineering, and basic statistical analysis. Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques, frameworks, and workflows (e.g., supervised learning, model evaluation, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch). Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, communicate clearly, and manage time effectively. Interest in staying current with AI trends and willingness to learn new tools, libraries, and methodologies.
