Community-Based Child and Family Counselor (QMHP-C)Status: Part-Time HourlyFLSA classification: Non-ExemptSummary of Position: Community-Based Child and Family Counselor (QMHP-C) is responsible for providing direct clinical services to youth and their families in home, school, and community settings. This role focuses on delivering individualized, strength-based interventions using a comprehensive wraparound approach that actively engages both youth and their caregivers.Initiate, organize, plan, and implement individualized clinical interventions for assigned youth and families.Develop and deliver service plans using a strength-based, wraparound model that engages caregivers and support systemsProvide services in community-based settings, including homes, schools, and other natural environments.Collaborate with families, stakeholders, and service providers to support treatment goals.Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.Support youth and families in building skills and accessing resources across educational, social, and behavioral domains.Services are delivered in the community - this is not an office-based role.Flexible scheduling with hours that may include evenings and weekends, depending on participant needs.Pay: $30.00 per hourQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field (required)Must meet Virginia QMHP-C criteria, including:At least 1 year of clinical experience working with children/adolescentsEquivalent combination of education and supervised experience as defined by DBHDSActive QMHP-C registration or eligibility in Virginia requiredExperience providing services to children and families in a clinical or community-based setting preferredStrong communication, organization, and engagement skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferredBilingual (e.g., Spanish speaking) skills a plusValid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance requiredBenefits Available:Voluntary DentalVoluntary VisionUNUM Supplemental Benefits403(b) Retirement Savings Plan.Pet InsuranceEmployee Assistance ProgramDirect DepositCompetitive Weekly PayFlexible ScheduleYouth Advocate Programs, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
