Job Title Respiratory Therapist – Night Location South Carolina Schedule / Job Type Contract | Per Diem | Nights | Onsite Key Responsibilities

Conducts physician-prescribed respiratory treatments including operation of invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen and aerosol devices, and nebulizer devices to administer prescribed medications, humidification, ventilation, and oxygenation Performs chest physiotherapy, suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, and tracheal), oximetry and capnography monitoring, pulmonary function studies, and routine review of patient chest x-rays Performs arterial puncture, 12-Lead EKG, basic arrhythmia recognition, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation per

BLS and ACLS guidelines Assists with respiratory-related procedures including bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomies, and chest tube placement; performs tracheostomy care including insertion and removal of tracheostomy tubes Sets up, self-tests, operates, and monitors mechanical ventilation equipment; assists with preventative maintenance and repair as needed Accurately documents all treatments, patient responses, and respiratory therapy charges in the patient chart and respiratory care records; communicates patient status during shift-to-shift handoff rounds Required Qualifications

Active Respiratory Therapist license valid in the state of South Carolina BLS certification

required ACLS certification

required Ability to perform within the full scope of a professional Respiratory Therapist license with minimal supervision Experience operating invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment and related respiratory care devices Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience in moderate complexity laboratory testing including specimen handling, quality controls, and documentation Proficiency with video laryngoscope systems for endotracheal tube insertion and removal Experience with PleurX catheter drainage or similar chest drainage devices Why Join Us
