Role Description This is a full-time, Remote Salesperson role based in McAllen, TX. The Salesperson will identify and contact prospective advertisers, build and maintain relationships with existing clients, and present advertising solutions that align with client goals. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing proposals and rate quotes, and following up to close sales. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate ad placement and timely delivery, maintaining detailed records in CRM or tracking systems, and meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets. The Salesperson is expected to stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and audience demographics to recommend effective advertising strategies. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in client relationship building, persuasive communication, and professional presentation skills. Strong skills in prospecting, lead follow-up, and closing sales in a business-to-business environment. Basic proficiency with office productivity tools, CRM or sales tracking software, and digital communication platforms. Solid organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple accounts and deadlines. Comfort working in an on-site, community-facing role and engaging with local businesses. Previous experience in advertising, media, or retail sales is preferred but not required. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in Business, Marketing, or Communications is a plus.
