This position offers a unique remote work environment, providing flexibility to our mental health therapists while ensuring access to comprehensive resources and support. You will engage with clients through virtual therapy sessions, allowing for continuity of care and the convenience of meeting clients where they feel most comfortable. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive and trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the trauma history of patients and identify suitable treatment modalities.

  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans that focus specifically on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and evidence-based practices.

  • Utilize proven therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to guide patients through their healing journeys.

  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to empower clients to address their trauma, construct coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and holistic patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.
  • \n
  • Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing traumatic stress and emotional emergencies, ensuring a rapid and effective response to their needs.
  • \n
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, helping to demystify their experiences and promote recovery.
  • \n
  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation adhering to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development workshops centered on trauma-informed care practices.

  • Stay current with the latest research developments and methodologies in trauma therapy and apply them within your therapeutic practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with primarily consist of individuals navigating the aftermath of a range of traumatic experiences. This includes but is not limited to, survivors of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, veterans dealing with PTSD, and individuals who have encountered significant life stressors such as accidents, natural disasters, or personal loss. Understanding the complexities of these individual stories is foundational to providing effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
  • \n
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, with a focus on trauma-informed care preferred.
  • \n
  • Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-related disorders and therapeutic techniques aimed at resilience building.
  • \n
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, exhibiting a compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to care.
  • \n
  • Skills in managing high-stress situations while remaining composed and attentive to patient needs.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications essential for therapy documentation.
  • \n
  • A collaborative mindset, poised to work within a multidisciplinary team framework to align patient care goals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
