Job Summary
Lit & Loaded is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in preparing high-quality food, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, cook, and assemble menu items according to company recipes and portion standards.
Maintain consistent food quality, taste, temperature, and presentation.
Read and complete customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Perform daily food preparation, stocking, and inventory rotation.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper storage procedures.
Monitor product levels and report shortages to management.
Maintain clean and organized cooking stations and equipment.
Complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning responsibilities.
Minimize food waste and follow portion-control standards.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience preferred.
Valid Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
Weekend availability is required.
Ability to follow recipes and preparation instructions.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work efficiently during high-volume periods.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
