Duration: 4 months contract Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 Hybrid role – 2 to 3 days onsite/week Summary: Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing loan documents to ensure a smooth and accurate closing process. This role ensures all documentation complies with regulatory standards and company policies before disbursement.

Responsibilities:

• Review approved loan applications and verify all required documents are complete and accurate.
• Prepare closing packages and coordinate with lenders, title companies, and borrowers.
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations, internal guidelines, and closing timelines.
• Confirm funding conditions are met and facilitate timely disbursement of funds.
• Maintain accurate records and update loan systems with closing status.
• Communicate with all parties involved to resolve issues and ensure a smooth closing process.

Skills:

• Experience in loan processing, underwriting, or closing.
• Familiarity with mortgage or commercial loan documentation and closing procedures.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance such as RESPA, TILA, or TRID.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in loan origination software and Microsoft Office.
