Job Description

Step into a vital imaging role serving a busy healthcare environment renowned for its trauma and surgical services. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality X-ray imaging in a fast-paced hospital setting, supporting multiple specialized areas including emergency, OR, NICU, and endoscopy. Youll respond to a wide range of imaging requests, perform a high volume of exams per day, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule:

• 33.5 hours per week
• Friday: 8:00 pm 5:30 am (9.5 hours)
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 pm 7:30 am (12 hours each night)
• Night shift

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of imaging/X-ray experience (2 years strongly preferred)
• BLS, ARRT certifications required
• Proficiency with PACS, portable X-ray, C-Arm, and administering contrast
• OR and fluoroscopy experience essential
• Expertise with EPIC required; Interlad experience preferred
• Experience with trauma imaging, particularly in a Level II trauma center, is highly valued
• Ability to operate Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, and Phillips X-ray systems, GE OEC c-arms, and O-arms
• Flexibility with scheduling, excellent punctuality, and compliance with strict attendance policies
• Previous travelers welcome

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct X-rays and fluoroscopy procedures across emergency, surgical, neonatal, and outpatient settings
• Provide imaging support for a large trauma center and 21 operating rooms
• Execute a wide range of exams including lumbar punctures, myelograms, swallowing studies, and orthopedic imaging
• Adapt to fast-moving priorities and perform high volumes of portable studies daily
• Collaborate effectively to deliver patient-centered, timely imaging services
