Learning & Development SpecialistUnder the direction of the Talent Development Manager, the Learning & Development Specialist will support training projects and contribute across the full instructional design and training development lifecycle, including design, development, and delivery of learning solutions. This will include design and development of eLearning courses, training procedural manuals, job guides, and training materials for in-person and online delivery. The Learning & Development Specialist also supports training by leading instructor-led workshops and onsite training sessions.25 Days PTOMedical * Dental * Vision 401k 100% Match up to 6%This is an in office only opportunity in Pearland.The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:Develop and maintain training programs and curriculum that address specific business needs and performance gaps, including: eLearning for new employee onboardingOnsite training and developmentNew Manager trainingDepartmental cross-trainingOnline continued developmentCreate, edit, and maintain training procedural manuals and job guides for various departmentsConduct seminars, workshops, and instructor-led group training sessionsTrack and document training participation, outcomes, and identified learning gapsOrganize and maintain training materials, training sessions, documentation, and program recordsPublish and maintain courses in the LMSEvaluate effectiveness and suggest improvements to the current training program(s)Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to support training initiativesIt is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee's assigned work site.
