Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse to provide specialized mental health care in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatric nursing, along with travel experience to adapt to various clinical environments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' mental health status, ensuring safety and therapeutic progress.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and document patient responses accurately.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed, utilizing CPI techniques.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and coping strategies.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NYS Registered Nurse license.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of psychiatric nursing experience.
• Have at least 2 years of travel nursing experience, demonstrating renewals preferred.
• Maintain current BLS and CPI certifications.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment, communication, and crisis management skills.
