We are seeking a highly motivated, sales‑driven leader to serve as Assistant Fitness Manager (Personal Training Sales). The role focuses on conducting welcome workouts, guiding new members through their initial experiences, and driving personal training sales. Responsibilities Ensure daily targets are met, especially during weekends or in the absence of the Fitness Manager, by leading the team and driving sales initiatives. Promote personal training packages and build strong rapport with members to achieve sales targets. Collaborate with the membership sales team to support new member onboarding and transition into the club experience. Conduct personalized welcome workouts to evaluate new members’ fitness needs and goals. Guide new members through the initial club experience, fostering a supportive environment that encourages personal training sales, retention, and engagement. Facilitate professional development for personal trainers through regular coaching sessions and continuous support. Communicate goals, expectations, and procedures to staff, ensuring clear understanding of roles. Supervise the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining certifications and implementing safety protocols. Qualifications 2–3 years of customer service experience. 1 year of sales experience. 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent relationship‑building and influencing skills at all levels. Detail orientation, systematic problem‑solving, and strong time‑management and organizational abilities. Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry. Embraces our Core Values. Requirements Must be available to work nights and weekends. Must successfully pass a background check. Must possess a valid Personal Training certification. CPR certification required within 30 days of hire. Ability to work in a gym setting, navigate gym floors, and communicate with employees, members, and the public. Ability to lift more than 40 lbs routinely. Competence in using the company computer system for documentation, data entry, and report review. Compensation and Benefits Hourly: $15 (hourly position, eligible for additional compensation).
