Per Diem Clinical Research Nurse - Home Visits New Amarillo, Texas

Position Overview Amarillo, Texas Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse – a registered nurse who works independently on a per‑diem basis, supporting decentralized mobile clinical nurse services in Science 37’s Nursing Solutions Group. Duties Provide research nurse services to qualified study participants at home. Apply clinical research and nursing practices to develop solutions to complex problems. Collaborate with Lead and Per Diem Mobile Research Nurses on solutioning, education, and resource support. Participate in operational development of Science 37 nursing service delivery. Develop relationships with study team members and serve as subject‑matter expert on all nursing processes. Perform other duties as assigned within evolving study needs. Qualifications and Requirements Full COVID vaccination strongly preferred; follows CDC guidelines. Active RN license in home state and eligibility for compact licensure. Minimum of 2+ years clinical/research experience preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Active driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle. Physical ability to lift equipment up to 15 kg. Availability: minimum 1–2 days per week dedicated to study visits; weekday/night hours required. Willingness to travel to participants’ homes and up to 100% travel as needed for study participation, team meetings, and conferences. Familiarity with technology for patient assessment and documentation (laptop, communication devices, tablets). Strong written and verbal communication in English. Skills and Competencies Proactive, autonomous, and able to integrate with interdisciplinary teams. Good communication and documentation skills. Adaptability to decentralized care delivery models. Ability to obtain nursing license in multiple states based on study needs. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Commitment to professional representation in participants’ homes or clinic settings. Compensation Compensation varies by location and work performed. The starting pay is generally in the range of $50–$55 per hour, with potential discretionary bonuses and commissions.
