Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Moffat County School District in scenic Craig, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting various HR functions and initiatives to ensure a positive employee experience. Base Salary: $26.04 to $28.33 per hour on Classified Salary Schedule - actual placement is dependent upon experience. Preference will be given to internal candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
• Manage employee relations and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate training and development programs
• Answer HR related questions and update databases with employee information
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations by submitting reports and doing audits as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in HR roles preferred
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities required
