What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within assigned post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Work with store leadership, local responders, and Allied Universal team members during emergency situations, medical events, and/or operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
