Nuclear Safety Analysis Engineer

A company is looking for a Safety Analysis Engineer, Nuclear. Key Responsibilities Perform deterministic safety analysis using RELAP5-3D code for the Natrium sodium fast reactor Analyze design basis accidents (DBAs) and licensing basis events (LBEs) to support reactor licensing with US NRC Develop safety analysis reports, including the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR), and collaborate with cross-functional teams Required Qualifications Extensive experience in nuclear safety analysis and reactor system modeling Proficiency with safety analysis software such as RELAP5, TRACE, or similar Degree: B.S. with 10+ years or M.S./Ph.D. with 5-7+ years in nuclear engineering or a relevant field Strong knowledge of nuclear systems thermal-hydraulics and reactor physics Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and under quality assurance programs (NQA-1)
