Pursuit Manager 2 - Integrated Facilities Date: Jul 1, 2026 Location: Overland Park, KS, US; Cary, NC, US; Houston, TX, US; Phoenix, AZ, US; Orlando, FL, US; Dallas, TX, US; Ann Arbor, MI, US Company: Black & Veatch Family of Companies The Opportunity Responsible for the management (preparation, assembly and submittal) of proposals for the Integrated Facilities Solution Portfolio (Data Centers and Industrial Manufacturing). Plans to manage multiple pursuits of varying revenue, contracting structures, complexities and schedules concurrently. Key Responsibilities Lead proposal development from assignment to contract signing. Responsible for budget, schedule, and quality of assigned proposals. Ensure CWAM compliance and adherence to proposal process procedures such as Opportunity Process Procedure, Cost Reviews, Proposal Review Boards, and others. Participate in Bid/No Bid or Screenings when requested by Proposal Leaders. Collaborate with the sales manager and project management to develop and implement the proposal win strategy. Determine required roles for pursuit team and identify professionals to support. Develop proposal budget needs based on scope and team input; monitor budget status and close budgets at submission and reopening. Facilitate proposal kick‑off meetings and status meetings. Develop and manage overall proposal schedule, maintain and direct action items. Ensure project management participation in proposal process (execution plan, scope review, risk mitigation, commercial terms). Drive collaboration between pursuit team members and other stakeholders. Ensure accountability across team; meet deadlines and drive schedule to achieve delivery requirements. Coordinate scope development and/or technical review of RFP. Continuously evaluate project risks with the team. Review Risk Register with Project Manager and Project Director, considering solution and client segment perspectives. Ensure risks are mitigated and documented, using current department Risk Register version. Management Responsibilities To be outlined in the full role description. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 6+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience.
