Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Minimum 2 years RN experience. Licensure: Kansas and Missouri or compact license required at time of submission. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS. Core clinical skills: telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management, central line/port care, blood product administration, feeding tube care, stroke care/NIHSS, cardiac cath pre/post care and sheath removal.
Monitor and analyze patient vital signs and telemetry readings. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care. Conduct health assessments and develop individualized care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
Orientation: 12 hours. Flu vaccine: Required with medical/religious exemptions only. Weekend requirement: Minimum 8 weekend shifts every 6 weeks (combination F/S/S).
