We also provide a 401(k) savings plan, Employee Assistance Program, a tuition reimbursement program, professional development and advancement opportunities.Join our team, be part of the solution, support evolving innovations, and help us continue providing quality products, all while being supported by strong leadership and a comprehensive and competitive benefits program.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the plant Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Department in developing and maintaining preventative and predictive maintenance plans for equipment that is required from their start-up and throughout their life cycle.Suggest specific activities for inspection, lubrication, cleaning and changing of parts to the equipment, based on recommendations from the manufacturer, the supplier and other criteria.Promote ongoing improvement in equipment and administrative procedures.Analyze equipment Maintenance history, investigate repetitive failures in order to evaluate effectiveness of Preventive – Predictive Maintenance and Operating Procedures.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineeringExperienceExperience in a manufacturing facility preferred; experience in heavy industry a plusStrong interpersonal skills, self-starter and detail orientedStrong organizational skills a mustSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office ProductsStrong computer skills, with experience with Oracle preferredMust have the ability to work overtime, on-call and off-shifts as the job requiresKnowledge of inspection routes, oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasound to assess equipment health and plan corrective actions – Preventive Maintenance UmbrellaPhysical RequirementsRequires physical dexterity and strength to lift heavy objects and to move through close areasPhysical environment is in the plant – dusty, noisy and potentially hazardous and must have the ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Buzzi Unicem USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
