Your New Role Pay Range: $62,100 - $71,900 / annually; based on experience. Hours: Varied schedule Monday-Friday with ability to support weekend shifts, when required. Responsibilities: The General Manager at Chuze Fitness is the heartbeat of our club, developing a team of authentic and motivated Chuzers and ensuring top-tier customer service, cleanliness, and an unbeatable culture. You will set the standard for hospitality in every aspect of our operations and lead your team in creating an unforgettable experience for our members and guests. Provide a welcoming experience for every Chuze member and guest by sharing information about memberships, fitness programs, amenities, equipment, and engaging club tours Support your team in daily cleaning tasks throughout the club, membership sign-ups, retail displays and transactions, and serving smoothies (at clubs with Chuze Blends) Develop Operations and Kids Club Chuzers, recruiting incredible new talent for your team, and fostering continuous growth through authentic conversations, performance reviews, and coaching documentation Guide your team through elevated member concerns and emergent facilities issues, determining the proper course of action and implementing improvements to minimize disruptions to member experience Work in close collaboration with the District Team in all aspects of your club's operations, performance, labor management, turnover, and quality assurance Establish and maintain strong cross-departmental communication and rapport with fitness, maintenance, and Home Office departments and processes Own administrative processes such as reporting, email communications, club scheduling, and inventory maintenance Free MAX Chuze Fitness membership + 1 Free membership for a family member or friend Accrued time off and paid floating holidays 401k Medical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurance (with large employer contribution) Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Discounts on all Chuze retail and Chuze Blends purchases Free First Aid/CPR and food handler certifications Engaging and dynamic work environment with professional growth opportunities Your Skills: Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent 3-5 years of management experience or equivalent industry work 3 years of previous customer service experience Ability to leverage strong interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate a positive environment and develop a strong team Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail Organized and accountable, able to set, reach, and prioritize goals Ability to work varied hours, weekends, and opening/closing shifts as needed Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Team-based mindset with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback Preferences: Bachelor’s degree or currently continuing education Previous experience in the fitness industry Physical Abilities: Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when needed Due to the nature of this role, the selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
