Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced associate with 4-6 years of transactional experience in trust and estate planning and administration to join their Private Client Services Group in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills. An LL.M. in tax is preferred but not required. Duties Assist individuals and families with estate and tax planning techniques. Create and administer family offices and complex estates. Administer, decant, and modify trusts. Plan with respect to business interests, art, and unusual assets. Analyze complex transfer tax issues. Handle tax controversy matters before the IRS. Requirements 4-6 years of relevant transactional experience. Strong academic credentials. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Proficiency in trust and estate planning and administration. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
