$21.00 - $34.00/hr* Full time Shifts may vary Role summary Food and Consumable associates are focused on two things: taking care of customers and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise out to the salesfloor and create seasonal display features to meet the needs of the customer. For complete job duties and requirements, see the Job Description. What you’ll do As a fresh food and grocery associate, you will make important decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables customers eat and feed to their families. Work in the deli and be on the frontlines of customer service; your smile can make the difference between a good and a great shopping experience. Help customers celebrate special moments by assisting in bakery orders, not just cooking but decorating cakes. Work in the dry grocery department to ensure customers find the items they are looking for. Maintain detailed cleaning of the shelves and department, checking temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lower quality food products. What you’ll bring Help customers find the products they are looking for. Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
