Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Summary Akerman LLP seeks a Real Estate Associate with 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with sophisticated clients on complex real estate transactions, with a particular focus on data center and energy-related projects. Prior data center and energy experience, specifically with data center development and financing, is preferred, but not required. This position can be located in any Akerman office in Texas; however, Dallas office location is preferred. Responsibilities Drafter purchase and sale agreements, including agreements related to power infrastructure contingencies such as powered land sales and purchases. Analyze development issues including power, water, fiberoptics, zoning, entitlements, permits, and land use. Close real estate transactions. Perform excellent writing and analytical tasks, paying strong attention to detail and working both independently and in a collaborative team. Qualifications 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. Am Law 100 firm experience. Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school. Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location. Preferred experience in data center development and financing.
