We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be part of HRIT, primarily supporting departmental applications within HR.In this role, you will:Lead complex initiatives by applying core development principles, practices, and procedures to the development of various applications within technical domain environmentsAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to communicate ideas and resolve complex technical issues to achieve goalsServe as an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems Facilitate building out of the Product Development backlog(s) with portfolio stakeholders to support the business and technical Product Strategy; work with Product Owner to prioritize backlog(s)Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor You will be at the forefront of leading a team through AI development transformation. Helping develop patterns and standards, and ready to lead the team through rapid change. Required Qualifications:5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of experience with a modern development language. (.NET, Python, React, Java, etc.) with emphasis on the Microsoft development tools and environments5+ years of experience with relational databases1+ years of experience leveraging AI tools to make development more efficientDesired Qualifications:B.S./B.A. degree or higherStrong, clear and concise verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience working with APIGEEKnowledge and understanding of DevOps principlesExperience with Scrum/AgileExperience facilitating meetings with participants at various levels of experience in different lines of businessExperience with Co-pilot and/or DevinJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipAbility to work on-site at approved location at least three days/weekRelocation assistance is not available for this positionPay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
