Snelling Staffing is actively recruiting an Accounting Assistant for a respected client in Lubbock. This position is ideal for a detail-driven professional with experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general bookkeeping support.

The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strict confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Support daily accounting operations including data entry, reconciliations, and recordkeeping Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation and filing Assist with invoice processing, payment tracking, and account updates Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed Communicate professionally with internal staff and external vendors/customers

Qualifications: Minimum 1+ year of experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, or A/PA/R roles Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices Proficiency in QuickBooks (required) Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word (required) High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities Dependable, professional, and able to handle sensitive financial information Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an office setting

Compensation & Benefits: $18.00$20.00/hour, depending on experience Paid vacation Paid holidays Sick leave Medical/health benefits 401(k) retirement plan
