Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,190 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Portland, Oregon.

Job Description & Requirements

Key Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of NICU RN experience required
• Previous travel experience required (First-time travelers not accepted)
• Oregon RN License required
• Pending OR License accepted with:
  • Proof of Oregon license application
  • Fingerprints submitted with profile
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
  • NRP
• Must be able to care for patients under one year of age within scope of competency

Assignment Details

• Start Date: 07/01 or 07/15
• Shift: 3x12 Nights
• Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Schedule Requirements

• Weekend Requirement:
  • 3 Saturdays and 3 Sundays during a 6-week schedule period
• Holiday Requirement:
  • At least 1 holiday required — either July 4th or Labor Day
• On-Call: None

Floating Requirements

• Clinician may float within scope of practice to meet facility needs, including:
  • NICU
  • PICU
  • Pediatric Acute (Infants Floor)
  • NICU Overflow Location
• Legacy Health requires travelers to float within a site and across the system. Refusal to float as requested will result in contract cancellation.

Candidate Guidelines

• Local candidates not accepted
  • Candidates cannot live within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility
• RTO Restrictions:
  • Finalized RTO must be included with submission
  • No RTO during the first week of assignment
  • Maximum of 7 days of RTO per assignment

Education Requirement

• Travelers must complete any assigned education requirements within one week of assignment start

• Contracted Hours
• Low Census Cancellation Policy:
  • Shift cancellation must occur 1.5 hours before the scheduled start time
  • Personnel may be mandatorily cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without cause or penalty
