Sewing Operator

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sewing Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating sewing machines, constructing garments and textile products, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should have at least 1 year of previous experience. Responsibilities Operate sewing machines safely and efficiently Sew and assemble garments or textile products according to company standards and production requirements Review samples, product photos, and work instructions before production runs Inspect materials and finished products for defects, seam quality, and overall workmanship Follow supervisor instructions regarding product changes and sample construction Maintain production goals and daily output expectations Collaborate with team members and other departments as needed Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous sewing or textile production experience preferred Experience operating home or industrial sewing machines Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and quality Positive attitude and ability to work well on a team Knowledge of garment alterations and patterns is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed Ability to handle repetitive hand and arm movements throughout shift Apply today to be considered for this Sewing Operator position in Rochester, NY.
