FULL DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an entry-level Dental Production Technician to support the preparation and finishing of dental models and related products in a hands-on production environment. This role involves working with materials such as dental plaster and resin, trimming impressions, pouring impressions, processing plaster and resin models, and using hand tools and production equipment to complete detailed dental production tasks. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable performing repetitive hands-on work, and able to follow instructions while maintaining quality and accuracy.

 

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Working with dental materials including plaster and resin
• Trimming dental impressions
• Pouring impressions to create dental models
• Trimming models using various machines and hand tools
• Processing plaster and resin dental models
• Using small hand tools and production equipment safely and accurately
• Trimming whitening trays
• Inspecting completed work for accuracy and quality
• Maintaining an organized and clean work area
• Following production procedures and instructions
• Meeting quality and productivity expectations
• Performing repetitive hands-on production tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Performing other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods while performing production tasks
• Ability to use hands and fingers for detailed trimming, model preparation, tool use, and repetitive production work
• Ability to maintain strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor control
• Ability to work with dental plaster, resin, impressions, models, whitening trays, and related production materials
• Ability to operate small hand tools and production equipment safely
• Ability to visually inspect detailed dental models and finished products for quality and accuracy
• Ability to bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the workday
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail while completing repetitive production tasks
• Ability to follow all applicable safety, quality, and production procedures

 

Salary Range: $20/hour
