Role Description

Full time opportunity. This is a hybrid role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Osborne Psychiatry & Wellness, located in the Greater Seattle Area. The position offers a flexible schedule, with primarily Telehealth visits. Office location in Bellevue or can be set by the applicant. The daily duties will include assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with psychiatric disorders. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team providing a range of mental healthcare services.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing and licensed certified nurse practitioner in the state of Washington
  • 1 year experience preferred working in mental health with children/adolescents and/or adults, including experience in evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy, OR NEW GRADUATES!
  • Excellent knowledge of psychiatric illnesses, treatment methods, and laws governing mental health care
  • Ability to evaluate and treat patients with complex co-morbid medical and psychiatric conditions, as well as a variety of behavioral issues
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with clients with diverse cultural backgrounds and to communicate with professionals in other fields
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality standards and follow all applicable laws and ethical standards

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and medication management.
  • Maintain certifications and stay updated on best practices in psychiatric nursing.

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay:  $100,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
