CMAC is looking for CDL Drivers (A or B required) in our DC Metro region. What You Will Do: As a CDL Driver, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: Assist with maintaining warehouse conditions to a high standard of safety, organization, and cleanliness inside and outside facility. Check documentation for completeness and accuracy. Inspect loads to ensure that cargo is secure. Maintain logs and other documentation, as required. Follow delivery instructions accordingly. Check condition of trailers and equipment, reporting any issues immediately. Secure cargo for transport, using provided and required equipment. Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods. Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, including emergency roadside repairs. Load and unload trucks utilizing a forklift or other equipment. Repair and maintain tools and equipment. Drive trucks and deliver orders to construction sites. Perform basic computer functions. Assist with the maintenance of the vehicle yard. What You Will Bring to the Team Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include: Two (2) years of applicable experience delivering equipment. Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Current and valid CDL A or B License. Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record and must comply with DOT and other applicable requirements. -or- Equivalent combination of the above education, training, and experience. Travel: Travel to project sites to make deliveries is required. The majority of travel is confined to the local area, with occasional travel to other locations outside of the local area.
