Yard Jockey
Location: Keasbey, NJ
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Pay: $24.00 per hour
Partners Personnel is currently hiring experienced Yard Jockeys to join our team in Keasbey, NJ . This is an excellent opportunity for dependable candidates looking to work in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
Responsibilities
- Safely move trailers throughout the yard using a yard tractor.
- Position trailers at designated dock doors for loading and unloading.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard equipment and trailers.
- Maintain accurate records of trailer movements.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and transportation staff.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Keep the yard organized and ensure the efficient flow of trailers.
Qualifications
- Previous Yard Jockey/Yard Spotter experience required.
- Valid driver's license required (CDL preferred but not required).
- Ability to safely operate a yard tractor.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
