EHS Specialist

We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support our manufacturing operations in Wickenburg, AZ by helping maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace. In this role, you’ll partner closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs, reduce risk, and promote a strong safety culture.What You’ll DoEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulationsSupport hazard assessments and help teams identify and reduce workplace risksDeliver and coordinate safety training (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, HAZCOM, Emergency Response, Fire Safety)Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsConduct routine inspections and support environmental programs (SWPPP, SPCC, air emissions, hazardous materials)Assist with sustainability initiatives focused on waste and energy reductionMaintain emergency response plans and participate in drillsPromote employee engagement and accountability around safety practicesKeep accurate records for EHS activities, OSHA logs, inspections, and trainingCollaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to integrate safety into daily workBachelor’s degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Health or other technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.1-3 years of experience in EHS roles in a manufacturing environment.In-depth knowledge of relevant EHS regulations and standards.Experience with hazard recognition, behavioral-based safety, and job hazard analysis is desired.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Relevant certifications or desire to obtain are a plus (HAZWOPER, LEAN, Confined Space, Lockout Tagout, Train the Trainer).Must have ability to effectively access all work areas of responsibility.Must have sufficient agility to observe all processes and product features including confined spaces and unusual accesses. #J-18808-Ljbffr
