The hospital is equipped to manage a broad range of inpatient critical care needs within a full-service hospital environment. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician will provide critical care coverage during 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with night call responsibilities from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, managing critically ill adult patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced life support interventions. Coverage is expected at a rate of 5-10 shifts per month, with an average daily census of 13-18 patients. The clinician will perform common critical care procedures including airway management, central line and arterial line placement, dialysis catheter insertion, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion at a minimum. The clinician will coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and maintain electronic documentation standards throughout the assignment.
