About the Role:

As a RN Charge Nurse , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing unit, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans, manage patient flow, and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in maintaining our facility's commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership Role: Supervise and mentor a team of nursing staff, ensuring that they are empowered to provide exceptional patient care and adhere to our facility's policies and procedures.

• Patient Care: Directly care for patients, assess their needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Nursing Unit Management: Monitor and manage patient flow, coordinate with other departments, and ensure that all necessary resources are available to meet patient needs.

• Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance patient care, reducing readmissions, and improving patient outcomes.

• Communication: Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and seamless care transitions.

Requirements:

• Education: Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (ADN, BSN or MSN)

• Experience: 0-2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of [insert number] months of experience as a Charge Nurse

• Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Texas
