Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional services in the Cath Lab/EP setting, supporting patient care through advanced procedures and technical expertise.

Responsibilities:

Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab and EP equipment to ensure optimal performance during procedures.
Prepare patients for catheterization and electrophysiology procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining sterile environments.
Document procedures accurately in electronic health records and monitor patient vital signs throughout interventions.
Maintain equipment calibration, cleaning, and inventory to ensure readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and procedural success.

Qualifications:

Hold an ARRT or CCI AR license (substitutions pending acceptance).
Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in Cath Lab or EP settings, including previous travel experience preferred.
Possess Cerner EMR system proficiency and solid knowledge of cardiovascular procedures.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including call responsibilities once per week and rotating weekends.
Active certification in cardiovascular technology or radiologic technology is required.
