Job Summary and Qualifications

The X-Ray/CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. The X-Ray/CT Technologists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in the department. 
• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. 
• You will assess patients'/families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure. 
• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program. 
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current. 
• ARRT registered; CT Certification or acquired within 6 months. 
• 1-3 years of CT experience minimum strongly preferred.

Located at800 Dickerson Pike, this 12,000-square-foot freestanding emergency department is designed to bridge the gap in local healthcare, providing 24/7 emergency services where they are needed most.

As part of the TriStar Skyline family, you will work in a facility equipped with 12 emergency treatment rooms, advanced imaging (CT/X-ray), and full laboratory services. We are prepared to treat a comprehensive range of medical emergencies, including heart attacks and strokes, ensuring that when seconds count, high-quality care is just around the corner for our neighbors in East Nashville.

TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 350+ bed facility. We are Tennessee's first comprehensive stroke center, a state designated Level 1 Trauma Center and a national leader in neuroscience. In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program, an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and serves the North Nashville community as a leading provider of emergency heart care.
