Automotive Technician

Silver Lake Auto Service, Inc. is a family‑owned business located in Silver Lake, WI. We are looking for a skilled automotive technician to join our team. The role involves performing maintenance and repair work, diagnosing and fixing vehicle systems, and meeting safety and quality standards. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician. Valid driver’s license. Team oriented, flexible, and focused on high level of customer service. Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc. Ability to use automotive software programs including Alldata, Mitchell, Napafix. High level of motivation and energy. Responsibilities Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently. Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification using optimal solutions. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. Own a complete set of personal work tools.
