CT Tech – Night Shift

• PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center in Bellingham, WA

• Relocation Assistance May Be Available

• Compensation: $45.30 – $68.01.

• Shift differentials: $3.50/hr-evening; $4.50/hr-night

• FTE: .875

• Schedule: Friday-Sunday and rotating Thursdays, 1900-0530. ; Very minimal call.

PeaceHealth is seeking a part time CT Technologist who values independence and autonomy, wants a consistent schedule, and is looking to be a part of a close knit night shift team.

This position is represented by a collective bargaining agreement. There may be more than one opening on this posting.

What You’ll Do

• Performs all routine and specialized CT procedures by integrating medical knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and accurate diagnostic information.

• Operates CT scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation of images, and performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal quality images.

• Applies ALARA principle to ensure appropriate radiation safety for self, patient, and visitor. Evaluates patient for pregnancy prior to exam as indicated.

• Performs interventional procedures applying knowledge of equipment, supplies, and AORN standards.

• May also be assigned to work as a Radiology Technologist

Qualifications

Education

Accredited School Required: Radiologic Technology

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year previous experience preferred

• Demonstrated venipuncture competency

Credentials

• Required: ARRT (R) and/or ARRT(CT) required upon hire; Advanced CT certification is required within 1 year of hire

• Required: Radiology Technologist - Washington (Washington Requirement)

• Required: Upon Hire Basic Life Support
