RPG Developer

Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong experience developing with RPG III, RPG IV, or RPG ILE
• Hands-on experience with IBM iSeries (AS/400) environments
• Solid understanding of DB2 databases
• Experience analyzing and documenting legacy systems and business processes
• Ability to turn technical findings into clear, structured documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Retail or comparable high-transaction industry experience preferred
• Familiarity with system integration and data migration concepts preferred
• Long-term interest in working with Java preferred

• Develop and support RPG applications in an iSeries environment
• Analyze and research legacy RPG applications
• Work with stakeholders to understand system workflows and business processes
• Document application functionality, dependencies, and operational processes
• Support discovery for transitioning systems to a Java-based platform
• Provide insights into DB2 data structures and flows
• Make limited enhancements and troubleshoot existing systems as needed
• Partner with business analysts, architects, and modernization teams
• Provide night and weekend support on a team rotation
