Customer Field Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Customer Field Service Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Livermore, CA. This role is ideal for a hands‑on equipment service professional who enjoys troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems while working directly with customers in the field. The Customer Field Service Technician will support equipment maintenance, diagnostics, repair, and technical service needs across customer sites, workshop environments, and job locations. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on heavy equipment and related rental service assets. Perform field service work at customer locations, job sites, workshops, and other assigned service environments. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, diagrams, maintenance schedules, flow charts, and service documentation to complete repairs accurately. Operate heavy equipment, cranes, lifting devices, light trucks, diagnostic tools, and related service equipment in accordance with safety standards. Communicate clearly with customers, internal teams, and leadership regarding equipment status, service findings, repair needs, and follow‑up actions. Travel extensively, including domestic and international assignments, while participating in overtime, weekend work, and on‑call rotations as needed. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity. Salary range: $111,000 to $124,000 per year. Location: Livermore, CA. Travel requirement: Up to 80%, including international travel. Schedule flexibility required for overtime, weekends, and on‑call rotations as needed.
