Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location/Work Environment: In facility Reporting Structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well by implementing occupational therapy programs and activities, following developed recovery plans, and delivering therapy treatments. You work as a healer and helper, addressing the whole patient as an individual. You adapt to the needs of each patient, collaborate with peers, and make referrals to support patient care. You prioritize patients and families, ensuring the highest quality service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
