About the role: As an IT Specialist (APPSW/DATAMGT) referred to here as a Full Stack Engineer, you will provide technical and user support and consultation while contributing to analytical reporting efforts. $67,100 to - $133,142 per year Where we're hiring: Philadelphia, PA Seattle, WA What you'll do: Support the development of APIs and database integration. Implements established coding practices and security protocols, and analyzes and implements modifications to existing software applications based on established requirements. Manage database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to optimize query performance, and engineer data integration strategies to ensure system scalability and integrity Support project management activities by tracking project milestones, maintaining project documentation, and coordinating with team members. Assists with resource planning and timeline development. Qualifications: In order to qualify for the GS-09 , you must meet the IT Competencies below AND the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Developing software code using programming languages to create basic applications or automate processes. Writing database queries to retrieve data or perform database maintenance tasks. Supporting system integrations between applications using APIs or file transfers. Designing database queries and data models to support application functionality and data storage requirements. Participating in software development lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment. In order to qualify for the GS-12 , you must meet the IT Competencies below AND the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include: Designed and developed Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to enable secure data access for developers and business partners. Designed and developed software applications and system integrations using modern programming languages to support data management and business process automation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and deliver software applications that meet business needs. Combination of Experience and Education: Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the GS-07 grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at the grade GS-09.
